A Different Perspective
on your life

Different Perspective Counselling came about through people telling me their story and as we chatted they would become aware that their ideas about themselves, for example feeling ‘not good enough’ or that ‘something was wrong with them’, came from their past experiences and the messages they had been given by other people - for example parents, older siblings or teachers.

The people that meet with me begin to see another side of themselves; a part of them that has been kept in the background. Such insight can lead people to gain a different perspective toward who they actually are and results in a shift in how they feel about themselves. An outcome of such a shift tends to be a reduction in psychological symptoms like depression and anxiety.
